A group of armed men broke into an addiction treatment center in Colonia San Martín; authorities report that the establishment was operating without permits.
San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato.- A group shot five men inside a house used as an “annex”Anexo” in the San Martín neighborhood, three victims died and two were seriously injured.
The killers broke into the home located on Clavel Street and attacked staff and patients who were receiving treatment for addictions.
The triple homicide occurred around 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 26.
The municipal Citizen Security Secretariat reported that the Rehabilitation Center did not have any permit issued by any authority for its operation.
This is the second attack recorded in October 2024 in centers for the care of people addicted to drugs in the state of Guanajuato; On the first day of the month, an armed commando killed four people and injured two more in another “Anexo” located in the El Rosario neighborhood in Salamanca, Guanajuato.
