The State Attorney General’s Office announced that the victim was identified as Oswaldo Alejandro.
The crime occurred around 8 p.m. on Friday, November 15th, on the San Miguel de Allende-Querétaro highway, near the Corralejo community.
According to witnesses, the individual known as Oswaldo Alejandro was inside the business when a man approached him and without saying anything pulled out a firearm and shot him several times.
The victim tried to take shelter from the bullets but fell seriously wounded while the shooter walked away from the crime scene as if nothing happened. Eyewitnesses immediately called the 911 emergency number.
When the Municipal Police officers arrived, they confirmed the report and requested an ambulance.
The paramedics came to give Oswaldo first aid, but he no longer had vital signs.
Later, the body was transferred to the Semefo facilities to perform the legal autopsy.
