A man was murdered inside an urban transport unit in San Miguel de Allende. The attack occurred while the young man was cleaning up the bus.
The murder was registered in the Ejido de Tirado, in the municipality of San Miguel de Allende.
Around 5:20 p.m. on Thursday, December 5, a shooting was reported on Comonfort Street, corner with Árboles in the Ejido de Tirado. The shots were aimed at a young man who worked in urban transport on the route to the Santa Julia neighborhood.
Despite the arrival of Red Cross paramedics, they could not do anything for the victim, other than confirm that he no longer had vital signs.
According to witnesses, the young man was cleaning the unit when armed men attacked him, and the lifeless body was left inside the bus.
There were multiple versions of the victim’s identity at the scene, with some claiming that he was a young man between 20 and 25 years old, who had recently started working as a driver on the Santa Julia route; while other residents claimed that he was an urban assistant.
The area was cordoned off and guarded by agents of the Citizen Security Secretariat, while experts from the State Attorney General’s Office carried out the corresponding investigations.
