The vice-coordinator of Morena in the Chamber of Representatives pointed out that between the three countries of North America the “free flow of goods” should be allowed.

The vice-coordinator of Morena in the Chamber of Deputies, Alfonso Ramírez Cuéllar, affirmed that once Donald Trump assumes the Presidency of the United States, on January 20, the leaders of that country, Mexico and Canada must take on the challenge of holding a Summit meeting as soon as possible to strengthen the unity of North America and establish clear guidelines for cooperation to resolve the problems that are of most concern.

The leader of the group “Building the second floor of the transformation” also warned that it is urgent to prepare “a great summit between the governments of the United States, Canada, and Mexico, to consolidate and strengthen the unity agreements between the three countries.”

“We will have to define first of all the issue of violence, drug trafficking and consumption and the entire strategy to stop once and for all this huge wave of weapons that are arriving to our country, that is, the first point has to do with the issue of violence, the huge consumption of drugs in the United States, arms trafficking and strengthening the fight against impunity and the fight against criminals in all places where they are found,” Ramirez Cuellar said.

The Morena legislator stressed that another great agreement that must be reached between the three countries of North America is “the basis of strengthening our commercial relationship, allowing the free flow of goods, guaranteeing the integration of a common industrial policy and also a thorough review that allows us to create new institutions in the North American region at the time when we are discussing the trade agreement next year.”
