The mayor of San Miguel de Allende assured that each of the business associations that make up the tourism value chain is being strengthened.
Trejo Pureco said that FITUR allowed an exchange of ideas between tourism leaders who are trending for 2025 and the years to come, in addition to the generation of alliances with destinations that are World Heritage Cities, like San Miguel de Allende.
With the launch of the “San Miguel Por el Mundo” campaign from the Rosewood Villa Magna hotel, the heritage city recreated the essence of San Miguel through an activity that mixes cultural wealth with Deriva Floral by artist Daniel Valero, Mexican cuisine, and cocktails; extending this experience until March 9.
In San Miguel de Allende, tourism continues to be a fundamental pillar for the local economy, so much so that eight pesos and fifty cents out of every 10 pesos come from this sector, thus positioning the “Best Tourist Destination of the Year” as a global tourist power.
