Two armed attacks in different parts of the city of San Miguel de Allende left two men dead and one seriously injured.
The first incident occurred around 8:16 a.m. on Wednesday, January 8, in the Santa Julia neighborhood.
Residents of the area reported gunshots, which mobilized the authorities. At the scene, the lifeless body of a man, known unofficially as ‘El Cham’, was found, who had gunshot wounds in different parts of his body.
Another man, identified by the nickname ‘El Moño’, was injured and was taken to a hospital for medical attention. Witnesses indicated that the attackers fled on a motorcycle.
Hours later, a second homicide was reported in the Olimpo neighborhood. A man was found dead inside a vehicle at the intersection of Peleo and Aquiles streets.
Apparently, and according to preliminary information, the victim was attacked while he was parked.
The FGEG began the corresponding investigations in both cases, gathering evidence and testimonies to clarify the events and find those responsible.
