A shooting in downtown San Miguel de Allende leaves one person injured.

On Friday, February 14, an armed attack in downtown San Miguel left one person injured, who was taken to the hospital in a private car.

One person was seriously injured after being shot while in a business on Puente de Umanarán Street, near the Ignacio Ramírez Market, in the center of San Miguel de Allende.

The incident occurred around 8 p.m. on Friday, February 14, when gunshots were reported in the area. According to the report, the victim was taken in a private car to a hospital to receive medical attention.

After the attack, the streets of downtown San Miguel were completely closed by agents of the Secretariat of Citizen Security, who were accompanied by the National Guard, while they waited for the arrival of experts from the State Attorney General’s Office to begin the corresponding investigations.

The identity of the injured person was not revealed by the local authorities. And as usual, no arrests have been made in connection with this crime.
