San Miguel de Allende.- A van with advertising for Ricardo Ferro, Morena’s candidate for mayor of this municipality, was placed on one side of the COVID vaccination line as a ‘fence’, regardless of whether the president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, has publicly condemned the use of the vaccination campaign for electoral purposes.
Users of social networks denounced the fact and described it as a premeditated and in bad taste act of illegal political propaganda organized by a candidate that pretends to use the vaccination campaign in his favor.
“It is outrageous to see that members of the López Obrador Morena party want to profit from everything, always saying that thanks to him we have vaccines and it is not true, it is thanks to our taxes and now this man Ferro parks his vehicle here where everyone can see it while they stand in line to get vaccinated ”, a user denounced on social networks.
The vaccination process began on Wednesday, May 20th, for adults 50 to 59 years old, pregnant women and older adults who have not received the second dose.
After complaints on social networks, the vehicle was removed from the scene.
