The individual category was won by Mad Ostberg and Patrick Barth.
The Rally of Nations came to an end with a Mexican victory in the Teams´category. And the event left an economic spill of more than 180 million pesos.
This important race has positioned Guanajuato as one of the favorite places for automotive sports worldwide.
Individually, Mad Otsberg from Norway took first place, followed by Andrea Mabellini from Italy, and third place Mexico’s Alejandro Mauro.
This year, the Rally covered 180 kilometers of competition at full speed in its third edition, with the participation of 37 drivers from Mexico, Finland, Norway, Italy, Spain, Peru, France, Germany, England, Brazil, Sweden, United States and Canada.
The competition started on Friday, Feb.23, on the esplanade of the Alhóndiga de Granaditas Regional Museum of Guanajuato, with the attendance of more than 173 thousand people and more than 17 thousand tourists who spent the weekend in the state hotels.
Guanajuato fans and tourists appreciated the pilots’ route through the legendary streets of the Capital, passing through emblematic tourist sites such as the Juárez Theater, Historic Center, Plaza de La Paz, Basilica, Underground Street, Glorieta Diego Rivera, Plaza de las Ranas, Avenida Juárez, and Mercado Hidalgo.

In this edition, legends of international rallying and drivers who are starting in motorsport competed, such as Arturo Orozco, Gustavo Uriostegui, Emiliano Retama, Mauro Zavaleta, Francisco Name, Juan Carlos Peralta, Carlos Andrade, Miguel Granados, Gabriel Pérez, Enrique Meza, Patrice Spitalier, among others.
Before the start, in the fascinating agave fields of the San Clemente community, in the municipality of Romita, the 37 drivers stopped to perform the last test of their cars in the Shakedown, for the final day of competition the street circuit was carried out where the competition was defined in the streets of León.
