San Miguel de Allende.- Through a report to the 911 Emergency number, it was denounced that the prevention measures against Covid19 were not being met inside a local religious center.

Civil Protection went to the scene and, upon corroborating the facts, proceeded to temporarily close the property. Civil Protection agents found that the establishment called “Universal Church of the Kingdom
of God” lacked the corresponding sanitary measures to contain the coronavirus.

When the authorities asked about the seal that endorsed their personnel was properly trained to work in the midst of the pandemic, the managers of the place said they did not have the corresponding certification.

The church located on Calzada de la Estación will be closed for a week. The closing seals cannot be removed from the doors.

In order to reopen, the religious center staff will have to take the “Health First” certification course and obtain the seal.
