TIXKOKOB, Yucatán.- One of the cars of the Mayan Train fell off the rails when it arrived at the station located in the town of Tixkokob, Yucatán. The events occurred in the morning hours of this Monday, March 25th.

The information obtained so far indicates that the Mayan Train left Campeche at 7 in the morning bound for Cancún, but when it was arriving at the station located in Tixkokob, car number four went off the rails.

The incident left no people injured and the car did not overturn or was visibly damaged, however, it caused concern among passengers and operators.

At the site, Tren Maya executives and technicians are already analyzing the situation and the car is being placed on track once again, to continue on its way to the state of Quintana Roo.

Many social network users remembered the Latinus journalistic report on the allegedly defective material used for the construction of the Mayan Train, which was the reason why the King and Queen of Sweden decided not to take the train, just ten days ago.

The derailment of the car in the Yucatecan population echoes the recent statements released by Almícar Olán and Pedro Salazar Beltrán, best friend and cousin of AMLO’s son.
