The executive taxi tried to make a turn prohibited by the bypass which ended with the unit causing the loss of the Red Cross in San Miguel de Allende.

The Red Cross lost an ambulance after it collided against one of those so-called “executive taxis”, that tried to make a prohibited turn on the bypass. The drivers suffered minor injuries.

It was near the Nuevo Pantoja ejido, right on the curve where several accidents have occurred lately in similar circumstances.

Firefighters and civil protection personnel arrived at the scene to attend to the contingency and free the road. The passengers of both vehicles were treated at the scene without requiring medical transportation.

The vehicles, however, were badly damaged. The black car was a total loss and the ambulance has not yet been determined, but for the moment it is reported non-operational.
