The gastronomic experience “San Miguel y sus Sabores” has begun

This festival, organized by the Municipal Presidency in association with Canirac San Miguel de Allende, celebrates the culinary and cultural wealth of the region.

Starting this weekend in this World Heritage City, the most anticipated gourmet event by locals and visitors brings together the best chefs in Benito Juárez Park, offering a unique tasting experience from the best restaurants in San Miguel.

The municipal president Mauricio Trejo has promoted the tourism strategy to position San Miguel de Allende as “The Best Gastronomic Destination in Mexico.”

This international event, held from June 21 to 23, highlights diversity, creativity, and passion for food. Tania Castillo, director of Economic Development and Tourism, expressed her excitement for the festival’s third edition, highlighting the union between the restaurant union and the Municipal Government.

Francisco Aguirre, president of Canirac San Miguel de Allende, thanked the municipality and Mauricio Trejo for their support, highlighting the festival’s growth thanks to the joint work between restaurateurs and municipal authorities.

All weekend long, from 12 noon to 7 p.m., visitors will be able to sample delicious dishes, and explore authentic Mexican flavors, and Italian and modern Mexican food from more than 30 exhibitors in “The Best Small Town in the World.”

In addition, live shows and activities for the whole family are enjoyed, making the “San Miguel y Sus Sabores” Festival an unmissable event for lovers of good food, culture, and adventure.

With this festival, municipal president Mauricio Trejo continues to strengthen the tourism strategy and promote San Miguel de Allende as a unique destination in the world.
