During the tribute, Ripstein received a standing ovation from the attendees, among whom were actors and actresses such as Arcelia Ramírez and Sylvia Pasquel, who participated in some of his films. In his acceptance speech, he expressed his deep gratitude for the recognition and shared anecdotes as well as reflections on his career and his passion for telling stories through film.
