More than 4 thousand doses of rabies vaccine available until October 18 in SMA

The SSG’s Health Jurisdiction II began an anti-rabies vaccination campaign in which more than 4 thousand doses will be applied to dogs and cats.

Starting on Monday, October 14, the inhabitants of San Miguel de Allende will be able to vaccinate their pets against rabies, a disease that still threatens public health.

This campaign is completely free, below we share the requirements:

– The patient must be more than one month old
– Wear a leash, harness, and muzzle for dogs if necessary.
– Transport the cats in a nylon bag tied at the top.
– The person accompanying the pets must be over 18 years old.

The schedule of attention by communities is the following:

October 14
Charco de Sierra, La Esquina and La Tinaja de los Rodríguez

October 15
El Huizachal, Llano Blanco and Rancho Toñales

October 16
San José de Viborillas, Puerto de Sosa and Cañada de las Flores

October 17
La Providencia, Moral de Puerto de Sosa and San Julián

October 18
Rancho Nuevo de Galvanes, Las Trojes de Belén and San Martín de la Petaca
