On Sunday October 23, a narco-laboratory, located in the south of “Apaseo El Alto”, was dismantled by Officers of the Secretariat of State Security (SSPE – Secretaría de Seguridad Pública del Estado), the Attorney General of the State (PGJE – Procuraduría General de Justicia del Estado) with the collaboration of the Unified Command (Mando único).

At this clandestine drug production facility, authorities found at least 60 thousand doses of the drug known as crystal, along with a myriad of accessories, utensils and chemicals used for the manufacture of this illegal drug.

The operation was derived from an anonymous complaint made to C5i State System Number 0-8-9.

This operation was carried out in the community of “Buenos Aires”, a place located about seen kilometers east of “Apaseo El Alto”, near the road junction of “Jerécuaro-Tarimoro-Apaseo el Alto-Libramiento”.

Four people who declared to be originally from Colima, Michoacán and Querétaro were also detained.

This property was secured with the support and coordination of the Mexican Army, the Attorney General’s Office and the Federal Police. Therefore, the property, suspects, drugs and accessories were placed under custody by law enforcement authorities.
