SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE, Gto – Local entrepreneurs support the initiative presented by Ricardo Villarreal, mayor of San Miguel de Allende. This supporting project seeks to provide employment to trained and qualified people in specialized areas, who were living in the United States, and had to return to Guanajuato for some reason.
In addition, the authorities of San Miguel have reported that, to obtain significant results, they will begin to create a database of returning residents, based on their capabilities and labor experience abroad.
“It’s very interesting, in the last year about 790 people returned to San Miguel. Therefore, these individuals are trained in different industries,” said José Benigno Torres, Business Coordinating Council President (Consejo Coordinador Empresarial, CCE-SMA).
