Televisa News reported an accident on the intersection of Juventino Rosas with San Miguel de Allende-Guanajuato highway near the community of San José de Allende that left one dead and four other seriously injured. The fatal incident occurred on Wednesday April 19.
According to the State’s Emergency Services, a concrete truck mixer lost control on a curve, and rolled over. As a result, 5 persons resulted trapped in the cabin.
The State’s Ministry of Health informed through a technical file that 5 members of a family were traveling in the trailer, two adults and three children, and one of the children did nor survive the accident.
Three of the injured were taken to the General Hospital of San Miguel de Allende, and one of the children was transported in a helicopter from the Emergency Services of Guanajuato to a hospital in Celaya.
The other four injured are reported in a serious condition, and the road was closed for several hours.
