Critical environmental issues will be decided based on this year’s election result

It’s crunch time. Tonight, millions of Americans across the country are tuning in to the first presidential debate of this election. And in just over a month, Americans will head to the polls to make one of our most important decisions in recent history.

But American democracy is only effective if Americans vote. That’s a tough lesson most Americans learned just two years ago, when the 2014 mid-term election had the lowest voter turnout in 70 years, with only about a third of eligible voters casting their ballot.

With so much at stake this election, citizens can’t afford to stay silent—and that’s why The Environmental Defense Fund (EDF) created a simple, user-friendly online tool that makes voter registration as easy as possible.

Make sure your friends and family are ready to vote in November! Share this easy to use online voter registration tool on Facebook, Twitter, or point them to edf.turbovote.org!

Critical environmental issues will be decided based on the outcome of this year’s elections—from fighting climate change to the safety of our food and drinking water.

At the federal, local, and state level, critical environmental issues will be decided based on the outcome of this year’s elections—from fighting climate change to the safety of our food and drinking water. The United States of America need a vocal, dedicated electorate to ensure the right decisions are made.

EDF members already turn out to vote at an astonishing 90-95% rate—but with everything on the line this election, let’s shoot for 100% turnout. And then let’s make sure our friends and family understand what’s at stake.

You are part of a powerful force of more than 1.5 million members. So if each of you encourages just one friend to register, we’ll have a force of 3 million. Five friends? 7.5 million. The more you share, the more we tip the scales toward climate action.

Help shape the future: Send your friends to edf.turbovote.org, or use our simple share tools below!
