QUERETARO – ZF Group, a German company that provides solutions to the automotive industry, announced the construction of its third production plant in Queretaro, which will have an investment of more than 240 million euros and will create more than 1,300 jobs.
“This investment will represent 80,000 square meters of construction, an investment of 240 million euros and more than 1,300 new jobs for the people of Queretaro,” said ZF’s vice president of operations, Paulo Vigolo.
It is worth mentioning that ZF Group has more than 157,500 associates worldwide. During fiscal year 2021, it reported sales of more than 38.3 billion euros, and operates in 188 production locations in 31 countries.
The head of the Ministry of Sustainable Development (SEDESU), Marco Antonio Del Prete Tercero, detailed that according to the figures registered by the dependency, through concreted investments and induction forms, these 240 mde are added to the more than US$1.6 billion in Foreign Direct Investment captured during 2022.
“It is a clear example that Queretaro continues to be a destination of attraction for foreign companies and today, with the relocation trend, we are able to take advantage of the geographical location of our state, its competitiveness, as well as the quality of the people who live in Queretaro,” said the state official.
