From January to August 2016, Guanajuato International Airport has received approximately 714,600 domestic passengers, which represents an 18% increase, compared with the same period last year, according to a report issued by Pacific Airport Group (Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico /GAP).
In a statement, the company declared that the “Guanajuato International Airport” received 600,900 domestic and 113,700 international passengers in total, from January to August 2015.
According to GAP, the company that manages the terminal, the number of passengers increased 13 percent just on the month of August, growing from 88,700 to 100,200 national passengers.

Pacific Airport Group released a traffic report on August 2016, highlighting that the 13 airports managed by this group have recorded an overall increase of 14.6%, compared with the same period last year.
Domestic passengers’ figures have grown 22.0%, while international passenger numbers show an increase of 3.4%.
