SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE, Gto .- “Good things are coming for the tourism sector in San Miguel de Allende”, said the manager of the Tourist Council of the Municipality, Guillermo González Engelbrecht.
González noted that: “hotels in San Miguel de Allende reported up to 70% in reservations for the Christmas and New Year holidays”.
He continued: “Hoteliers also reported that they have achieved a growth of 2% on lodging tax, which is also a an indicator that this will be a good holiday season for the municipality”.
“For this year, we expect to receive 1,600,000 thousand visitors, 300,000 more than last year,” González Engelbrecht concluded.
