In the night of Tuesday December 06, the Japanese Consul’s briefcase was stolen in León, Guanajuato.

The facts occurred around 11:00 pm, when the official parked his vehicle in front of the “Guadalajara” Pharmacy , that is located on busy Lopez Mateos Boulevard, at “El Oasis” neighborhood.

The evildoers broke into the Consul’s car and took his briefcase, so far the losses are still unknown, but the incident was reported to the local authorities.

Just yesterday, Mr. Yasuhisa Suzuki was talking about the arrival of Japanese companies to the city of León in 2017, that will result in an economic impact of millions of dollars for the region; and mentioning that recent incidents involving the Japanese community fortunately went without serious consequences.
