Presumed missing woman’s skeletal remains found in León

On Saturday December 10, skeletal remains were found on the roof of a building at “Jardines de San Isidro” neighborhood, in the city of León, Guanajuato.

Forensics experts are analyzing the bones to confirm whether they belong to 26-year-old France Ruth Ibarra Ramirez, a woman who was reported missing since Saturday December 3.

The spokesman of the Deputy Attorney General, Daniel Villagómez Márquez confirmed the discovery of the skeletal remains, and declared that agents were sent to the site, to conduct the proper investigations, and also said that Ruth Ibarra was seen for the last time in that area.

So far, authorities have not confirmed if the the skeletal remains belong to the missing womam, or the cause of death, but it was reported that the investigation continues and they are still waiting for forensics studies’ results.
