Meeting Robin changed my experience of living in San Miguel. Her ability to listen with compassion and patience combined with her uncanny knowledge of community resources helped me create a business doing exactly what I want to do,” said Deborah Bickel of “Be Well San Miguel” patient advocacy services.

“Thank you for the loveliest of Thanksgivings! You did a wonderful job in bringing the community together to share a meal. It was a very, very special day. You are the wonder woman of organizing.

It is a lot of work but you did it like you do this every day, serving and organizing 90 people! You worked tirelessly. You thought out every detail. How creative, energetic, and resourceful you are. And gracious. Bravo. It really was a day of Thanks and Giving, said members of The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of San Miguel de Allende.

“Everything was perfect for Farley’s service! You thought of each and every detail and then carried them out. I was especially impressed with the woman signing for the students from the Escuela de Educación Especial. The service was exactly the right length and a beautiful combination of sadness and joy, presentations and music. It was Farley’s way, and you made it all so good for everyone. Loved the slide show of Farley’s earlier years set up after the service,” said SMA Resident Cynthia Claus.

Loving is known as a community connector and a motivational messenger, a go-to person for who knows what, when, where, why and how in San Miguel. The Rotary Club named her Citizen of the Year in 2009. She and friends founded the Nonprofit Resource Network at NonprofitSMA.Net in 2015 to connect and inform nonprofits, volunteers, benefactors and consultants. The Municipality of San Miguel named her a woman of social trajectory in 2016. She is functionally bilingual.
