For more than seven hours, Crime Investigation staff conducted an inspection at Federico Guevara’s home, who on Wednesday January 18, shot three classmates and his teacher. Detectives left the premises carrying five bags with evidence.
The inspection took place at the property located on Campos Elíseos Street, in Colonia Jardines del Paseo, Monterrey NL; it began at 6:00 p.m., and concluded at 1:30 am on Thursday morning.
Experts left the house carrying computers, cell phones and long rifles, property of Federico’s father.
Authorities will investigate the computer and cell phone of the teenager, to see if there was any indication to confirm or rule out an alleged message that the student would have published on Tuesday night in social networks where he announced he would commit the massacre.
The footage showed that the young man used the 22 caliber with great skills, which is not common in a 14 year-old boy.
At the end of the inspection, staff of the Attorney General’s office placed evidence stamps on the dwelling, as well as a document certifying the inspection, and the Guevara family will not be able to access the premises until further notice.
