American actress Katharine McPhee looked stunning in a purple string bikini as she vacationed in Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur, Mexico over the weekend.

The 33-year-old singer and actress was on holiday with her pal Hilary Shor, who is the producer on The Help and Children Of Men.

But the trip was not without some strife, however, as on Tuesday Page Six reported McPhee and Shor got mad at a bride for kicking them out of her wedding after they ‘crashed’ it.

McPhee is best known for her stint on American Idol as well as her TV show Scorpion.

She has also been in the news lately for her romantic relationship with music producer David Foster.

They confirmed their dating status last week when she was seen kissing the mogul on the lips outside Italian restaurant E Baldi in Beverly Hills.

Katharine looked flawless in her little string bikini as she played around in a hotel pool in Cabo San Lucas. She appeared to be in great spirits, often smiling to onlookers.

The 5ft 8in Smash actress went in and out of the water and then laid on her lounge chair next to a female pal.

Unfortunately for Katharine, during the dreamy getaway someone was checking Shor’s Instagram account.

The looker and her friend reportedly called the bride a ‘loser’ and a ‘bitch‘ for kicking them out of her beach-side nuptials.
