The opening of the fourth edition of the Fashions Days San Miguel de Allende kicked off with a catwalk full of sensuality and glamor, an international event that brings together every year the highlights of the fashion industry.
On this occasion the firm Zingara was commissioned to publicize the latest trends in swimwear in an event full of sophistication in the facilities of the Hotel Matilda, where guests could see the “gypsy” touch that is the hallmark of the brand combined with the highest Italian design confection.
Prints inspired by nature, vibrant colors and an elegant and youthful concepts define the proposal for this summer of the renowned firm that also has an important presence in Latin America.
At the end of the catwalk, Blanca Santos, director and creator of the event, addressed some words with which she recognized the important work of promotion and dissemination that has been maintained so far in each edition of the FDSM.
Dress to give
Fashion Days seeks to create a fashion proposal with cause to benefit the Comprehensive Rehabilitation Center of San Miguel de Allende, (CRISMA) where 200 children with neurological and motor disability problems are treated, currently under the shelter of the Vamos Mexico Foundation, chaired by former Mexican first lady Marta Sahagún de Fox.
“We invite you to buy and consume fashion to help, because this is an event created with cause in mind,” said Martha Sahagún who thanked the attendees for their assistance, inviting them to continue supporting.
The event that took place from April 25 to 28 featured designers such as Abel Lopez, Armando Takeda, Macario Jiménez, Pineda Covalin, Olmos and Flores, Vero Solis, La Colektiva Hoja Santa, and Zachasha.
Fashion Days is a cultural, historical, architectural and gastronomic encounter as a travel experience, which serves to continue positioning San Miguel de Allende as a world-class tourism destination.
