With the main objective of paying homage to one of the dishes with the greatest tradition in Mexican gastronomy, the fourth edition of the Enchilada Festival in Guanajuato will take place this week in the state capital.
In an official notice of the Secretary of Tourism of the state, it was announced that on September 21, 22 and 23, an attendance of 3,800 people is expected to this gastronomic event, in which one of the mai features will be a monumental enchilada.
Additionally, the statement indicated that 14 restaurants will be participating in the event with more than 15 different recipes, which will also include innovative proposals for this traditional Mexican dish.

In previous editions, the festival had the attendance of 1,500 guests, who were delighted with the flavors and aromas served by the Tourism students from the University of Guanajuato and Gastronomy students from the Santa Fe University.
This festival has been held since 2015, on the initiative of the organizers and the support of Canirac Guanajuato,along with the State Secretariat of Tourism.
