San Miguel de Allende.- Paramedics from the local Red Cross received the new uniforms that will homologate them with the international Red Cross according to the change of image that was announced last June at the national level.
The change also comes to be able to identify certified paramedics and differentiate them from other public or private institutions.
On Sunday, November 15, members of the Red Cross Board of Directors in San Miguel, including the president, Leticia Fernández; and the treasurer, Luis Arellano; together with the medical coordinator, Dr. Vázquez, and coordinator Fundraising Officer, Zonia Torres: they met to deliver the first 20 uniforms that the paramedics will wear starting November 15, 2020, SMA Red Cross recognition is now INTERNATIONAL.
“You have to wear that uniform with pride, with gallantry, always being faithful to our philosophy, to our principles,” said Dr. Vázquez to the paramedics during the delivery event.
