L’Amore Wedding Show, an event that seeks to reactivate the romance industry and restore the illusion of getting married in SMA, took place at the Rosewood hotel, one of the most exclusive in San Miguel de Allende, with exhibitors, speakers, and the industry’s highlights to present new proposals and share their knowledge through a sensory experience.
Maika de la O, director of the event, said that the expo was born in the midst of these difficult times. “It is an event to reactivate the economy of all the people who are dedicated to this industry and the idea is to invite all those involved to expose their work and that the couples who are about to get married have the tools to carry out their wedding of a dream ”, she said.
She added that San Miguel de Allende is a premium destination in which 900 weddings were held per year (before the pandemic), “just a month ago the industry began to reactivate a little more with small weddings here in San Miguel. That is why we are inviting local caters to participate in promoting their work, providing information and offering their services ”
The event was held outdoors in 2,000 square meters, with all the corresponding safety and hygiene measures.
“Holding the event outdoors makes the expo different. Admission was free and the conferences had a cost, everythig under strict safety and hygiene measures, “she explained.
The conference program was made up of Mauricio Rivera Kirschner, Alfonso Waithsman, Juan Pablo Partida, Guadalupe Álvarez, Javier Bredée, and Chantal Trujillo, the influencer who shared her experience of having modified her wedding planning due to the pandemic.
He said that all brides have their eyes on San Miguel, for its churches, gardens, “we have a wide range of venues ranging from farms, vineyards, old houses, among others”, she concluded.
