Queretaro, (January 12, 2022).- An intense mobilization of the emergency services of Querétaro caused the overturning of a private car that fell into a water channel, a tragic incident in which one person died.
The events took place inside the Mompaní dam, located in the northern part of the municipality of Querétaro, where the driver of a red car rushed into the reservoir.
At the scene, emergency services personnel came who located two minors and a woman who were given support, without requiring a transfer to the hospital.
However, at the scene it was confirmed that a male was trapped inside the car, which is why they proceeded to search for him, ultimately, locating him dead.
“Unfortunately, the body of a male was recovered by the Querétaro Fire Department,” reported the municipal civil protection department.
During the work, it was also possible to extract the vehicle in which the family was traveling.
Ministerial personnel from the Querétaro Attorney General’s Office (FGQ) attended the site in order to initiate the corresponding investigations. The Forensic Medical Service (Semefo) lifted the victim’s body.
