San Miguel gets a new nomination as “the best destination in Mexico”

Food and Travel Mexico magazine once again considered San Miguel de Allende to have a nomination as the best destination in Mexico.

San Miguel de Allende.- Once again San Miguel de Allende has been nominated as the best destination in Mexico by Food and Travel Mexico magazine .

The publication asked traveling tourists from Mexico and the world to vote for the best national and international destinations. The Mexico 2022 edition included San Miguel among the most consolidated, which includes beach sites such as La Paz, Baja California Sur; Mérida, Yucatán and Punta de Mita, Nayarit or magical towns such as San Cristóbal de las Casas, Chiapas and destinations with tourist routes such as Valle de Guadalupe, Baja California.

The vote of travelers in the Mexican tourism industry and from some parts of the world, in its seventh edition, also gives a voice to 37 specialists from the hospitality industry and the board of said editorial and have defined these nominations, divided into 23 categories, proposals based on their knowledge and experience, to chefs, restaurants, bars, gourmet spaces, destinations, hotels, airlines, wellness experiences, cruise ships and travel agencies.

Online voting has been open since December 5 and closed on February 10, the winners will be announced at the award ceremony today Thursday, February 23.
