Mexican journalist Carlos Loret de Mola reported that, presumably, President López Obrador would receive a real salary of 405,156 pesos and not the 150,000 he claims to earn.
The communicator pointed out that the calculation was made “based on transparency requests, reports of the Federation’s Expenditure Budget, INEGI data, real estate and labor market prices, and information crosses.”
The breakdown includes expenses that the president is not responsible for, such as rent, fuel and services, so that “when the president talks about his salary, he does not say everything that he does not pay, but he does receive and enjoys.”
Loret’s investigation divided opinions, since some supported it and others assured that it is a dirty war of the communicator against the president.
