San Miguel de Allende, Gto. November 22, 2024.- State Public Security Forces detained a person carrying a long gun, magazines, live cartridges, and cash.
The CONFIA strategy, through its regionalized approach, strengthens security in priority areas of the state.
As a result of surveillance actions as part of the regionalized approach of the CONFIA Strategy, members of the Guanajuato State Security Forces managed to arrest a man in possession of a long gun, live cartridges, and cash.
At 00:40 hours on Thursday, November 21, Jesús N, 47 years old, was arrested in the town of Buena Vista, belonging to the municipality of San Miguel de Allende. The following was seized from the subject:
- A long firearm
- Two magazines
- 21 live cartridges
- Cash: 34,400 Mexican pesos and 501 US dollars.
The detainee and the seized items were placed at the disposal of the Attorney General’s Office for the corresponding investigations.
