San Miguel de Allende.- The Juárez and Zeferino Gutiérrez parks were reopened on Thursday, October 1st, after almost six months closed due to the pandemic. They will open from 6:00 in the morning to 9:00 at night with health measures and some restrictions.

“The two largest parks in the city have reopened from this Thursday, October 1st with restrictions and measures to prevent contagions”, announced the municipal president Luis Alberto Villarreal García.

However, the sports and children’s play areas (basketball courts) may not be used until the municipality advances to the corresponding phase of the General Health and Safety Measures for the Reactivation of Establishments and Activities in the Municipality of San Miguel de Allende.

The use of a face mask will be mandatory to enter these spaces. In addition, Villarreal announced that today more measures for economic reactivation will be announced in response to the changes in the state traffic light.
