But different doesn’t mean that it’s not safe. The key is to educate yourself on the steps involved and get familiar with the process.
As an American real estate broker working in Mexico, one of my main goals has always been helping American and Canadians to purchase property safely in this country. With this in mind, and with the help of my team, we are constantly creating new materials to educate those who are in the search of a Mexican home.
These materials include eBooks and vBooks, information kits, interviews with experts and much more. Back in March 2016, we started producing webinars with the goal of offering valuable real estate advice on a different platform.
With a new webinar each month, we select the topics based on the customer’s needs and the goal is to help them learn more about real estate in Mexico so they can make educated decisions.
In the first webinar I explained how you can own property in Mexico and make your retirement savings go further with a simple 8-step process. The content of this webinar was based on my years of experience working with Americans and Canadians and was a summary of many of the resources available in our website in a single dose.
Sometimes I bring in guests to talk about a specific topic; for example, we had a lawyer to explain Mexico’s property law, including what a promissory contract is and what it contains to create a safe and secure purchase.
