Shooting leaves one man injured in downtown San Miguel

A motorist was the victim of a shooting attack on the Salida Real a Querétaro, during the night of Thursday, April 18th, near the Hotel Misión, in San Miguel de Allende.

Police and paramedics arrived quickly upon receiving citizen reports to provide first aid to the driver, whose vehicle ended up crashing into the facade of a house on the aforementioned avenue.

Authorities are investigating the details of how the events occurred.

The identity of the injured man is being kept confidential by the authorities.

Several shell casings were found at the crime scene, which were secured for analysis.

After receiving treatment at the hospital, the injured man was reported out of danger.

Despite the operation implemented by the authorities, no arrests were reported.
