The 20-year-old Mexican diver Osmar Olvera became a double medalist at the Olympic Games, delivering an execution of almost 100 points, to reach third place in the 3-meter springboard.
Osmar Olvera gave it his all in the Final of the three-meter springboard diving, but when competing against the representatives of China, it is difficult to surpass a country that is almost perfect in this discipline.
The Mexican competitor reached third place in this competition, giving Mexico the bronze medal and with this, the fourth medal that the Aztec delegation has achieved so far in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
This is the second time that the Mexican representatives have reached the podium in diving. Olvera himself, along with his partner, Juan Manuel Celaya, took the silver medal (China took the gold), from the same platform, but in the synchronized competition, demonstrating that Mexico has become a power in this sport; and particularly, Osmar has become a reality for the sport of diving in our country, with an impressive future and potential.
Congratulations Osmar Olvera!
¡CLAVADAZO, CLAVADAZO, CLAVADAZO! 🤩🔥
