Out of thousands of agents, only ten officers of the Secretariat of Public Security of Guanajuato (SSPE – Secretaría de Seguridad Pública del Estado) have failed control tests of confidence and reliability.
According to information from the Executive Secretariat of the National Public Security System (SESNSP – Secretariado Ejecutivo del Sistema Nacional de Seguridad Pública) made public by “Causa Común” organization, on August, 31 2016, at least 2 thousand law enforcement officers have been evaluated in that matter.
This means that only 0.48% of the state police agents evaluated in Guanajuato have failed the confidence tests.
Guanajuato is one of the states with the best percentage of approved active state police officers in the country.
At a national level, 124,439 police officers have been evaluated, 9,109 of them have not passed the trust control assessments, which represents 7.29% of all the state agents tested.
“Causa en común” pointed out in its report that the states with the highest average of unapproved security agents are: Sinaloa (34.59%), Michoacán (26.69%) and Veracruz (27.56%).
