First “Natural Gas Vehicle Station” a new alternative in Celaya, Guanajuato

The first “Natural Gas Vehicle Station” (Gas Natural Vehicular -GNV)  was inaugurated in the municipality of Celaya with the presence of the Governor of Guanajuato state, Miguel Marquez Marquez, on Monday, October 24th.

During the event, the international firms “NATGAS” and “Gas Natural Fenosa” announced: “we are planning open nine more natural gas stations statewide and along the Industrial Corridor”.

In a statement, the Government of Guanajuato reported: “The Natural Gas Vehicle station” offers 24-hour service and the capacity to provide 1,000 vehicles with natural gas everyday.

With the use of natural gas, the Carriers Union will enjoy savings of more than 50 percent compared to magna’s gasoline “.

The report says: “the expansion plan of this project includes a portfolio of 400 million pesos (21.05 million USD) in 9 service stations, generating 300 direct and 900 indirect jobs in the state.

Finally, it explains that: “NATGAS” and “Gas Natural Fenosa” are promoting the use of this kind of fuel, and therefore, they are constantly working on modifying the vehicles’ systems for the use of natural gas instead of conventional gasoline.
