SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE – “Torture is just one of the many irregularities found in the case of Antonio Luna, father of three children killed last weekend during a shooting”, said attorney José Luis Vargas Ramírez.
“Before he was taken to the Public Ministry (Ministerio Público), Antonio was detained arbitrarily for approximately 9 hours. I told the judge that he shows signs of torture, the suspect has a lot of visible injuries and so far, these facts have not been documented yet,” Vargas Ramírez declared.

Vargas Ramírez stated that in fact, Antonio’s physical and psychological condition is so bad, that the hearings had to be postponed. Luna is accused of allegedly murdering his sons Adrián, Gabriel and Mateo and attempting to kill five ministerial police officers.
Lawyer Vargas Ramírez concluded: “Antonio Luna is not guilty, he is a victim and he is emotionally affected”.
