The state government through the Office of Conventions and Visitors (OCV) of Guanajuato announced the days of the event La Catrina Vive! Festival of Death and Color 2018, and launched the official poster.
Through social networks, the Gunajuato’s OCV indicated that this event that takes place in commemoration of the Day of the Dead will last from November 1 to 4, in the municipality of Guanajuato.
While on the Facebook account of La Catrina Vive Fiestas de Muerte y Color, the organization committee made the following announcment: “Everything is ready with the support of Sectur Guanajuato, OCV and the Municipal Government. We are waiting for you in Guanajuato capital at the beginning of November with a fantastic programme of activities to celebrate Día de Muertos “.
This festival seeks to strengthen the tradition of Day of the Dead in Mexico where gastronomic specialtie of the season, such as the bread of the dead, the alfeñiques, tumbagones among others, are promoted.
