San Miguel de Allende.- A group of local artists is preparing a project for traveling exhibitions and courses that will take the art of San Miguel de Allende to other cities in Guanajuato.
The objective of the project is to awaken and encourage the creativity of the new generations. As well as that there is an approach of the works and knowledge to the general public.
They want to inspire young people
In this regard, Juan Enrique Ortega, who is known in the world of painting as “El Fantasma”, reported that El Salón de la Plástica is the project that integrates artists of weight in the different plastic arts of San Miguel de Allende.
He shared that in addition to looking for public spaces, they will also do it with private foundations. This is to impact the greatest number of people. “El Fantasma” confessed that there are currently 14 artists. But they want to inaugurate the project with 20.
It is also a matter of generating audiences, as well as taking advantage of the twinning of San Miguel de Allende. He concluded saying that the only thing missing is the scheduling of the state museums.
