Economic support for San Miguel students went from 140 to 252 this year and it is expected that they continue to increase for the good of all.
San Miguel de Allende.- In order for them to continue their studies, the Municipal Administration through the Municipal System for the Integral Development of the Family (DIF) continues to promote the education of young people from San Miguel.
The DIF SMA doubled the delivery of economic stimuli so that children and young people can cover expenses to continue in their basic and upper secondary education schools. This was done in response to the public policy of municipal president Mauricio Trejo to strengthen education.
During the delivery, Brisa Calderón, director of the San Miguel DIF, stressed that this commitment of the Municipality to education is real. She said that she does not stay in a false speech. In addition, the beneficiaries endorsed their commitment to continue studying.
On this occasion, 252 primary, secondary, and high school students received this economic stimulus subsidized by the Municipal Administration. Thus they exceeded last year’s figure of 140 supports. In addition, by indications of the municipal president to reinforce education, the DIF continues to seek to increase the number of supports.
