A man was shot to death by his attackers inside a grocery store in the Infonavit Malanquín neighborhood.
So far the victim has not been identified and the motive for the attack is unknown.
The incident occurred around 11:40 a.m. on Saturday, November 16th, on Avenida Colonial at the corner with Alfis walkway.
Residents of the area reported to the 911 emergency number that a young man had been shot inside a grocery store. His attackers escaped.
The first to arrive were the municipal police, who confirmed the report so they cordoned off the business with yellow tape and requested an ambulance.
The paramedics arrived on the scene minutes later to provide first aid to the victim, but he no longer had vital signs.
Agents of the Public Ministry began the corresponding inquiries with the witnesses to open an investigation file.
The body was later transferred to the Semefo facilities for the required autopsy and awaiting a family member to identify it.
