Sofía Castro and Pablo Bernot celebrated their religious wedding this Saturday, November 30, in San Miguel de Allende, at a party in which actress Angélica Rivera was seen dancing alongside her daughter and her ex-husband Alberto ‘El Güero’ Castro.
Sofía Castro got engaged to businessman Pablo Bernot in 2023, on September 7 they had a civil marriage in Mexico City and now the big party was in Guanajuato.
Pablo (33 years old) walked down the aisle hand in hand with his mother Rebeca Krause; Sofía Castro (28 years old) did it on the arm of ‘El Güero’ Castro while ‘Can’t Help Falling in Love’ was playing.
Angélica Rivera danced with her daughter at the party and at one point moved to the center of the dance floor to share with ‘El Güero‘ and his daughters Fernanda, Sofía, and Regina Castro with a remix of ‘Can’t Take My Eyes off you’ and ‘Hoy tengo que decirte papá’.
Who is Pablo Bernot?
Pablo Bernot, son of Francisco Bernot Barragán and Rebeca Krause Urrea, has a degree in Business Administration; according to Caras magazine, he has focused on the family business of hospitality and is the director of new projects at the Las Mañanitas hotel.
The couple met at the end of 2012 and in 2019 they made their relationship official when they met at New York Fashion Week. “I think I knew it since I met Pablo. From day one that we were dating, I wanted to marry him,” Sofía told Quién a few months ago.

According to Elle magazine, the singer of Esperanza del corazón bought it in a store of the famous designer in New York, through the creative director Fernando García.
The garment with embroidered details, layers of lace, and tulle was handmade by a Mexican seamstress.
“I always dreamed of a dress like this to get married in, custom-made by Oscar de la Renta, the designer of my dreams. Since I was a little girl, I imagined my wedding and knew exactly how I wanted to look that day. I had a couple of designers in mind, but Oscar de la Renta was always at the top of my list,” Sofia told Elle.

According to Quién magazine, the decor was by Peter de Anda and guests enjoyed a menu by Banquetes Vicky Cherem, which included:
Starter: grilled palm heart salad, accompanied by pesto, dehydrated tomato, pistachio, and parmesan cheese.
Intermediate: gratin Idaho potato, served with caviar and crème fraîche.
Main course: braised short rib, with red wine and balsamic reduction sauce, accompanied by orzo risotto with morels and asparagus; or grilled sea bass with sticky rice and guajillo sauce.
Dessert: Belgian chocolate flourless cake with banana crisp, white chocolate, and dulce de leche.
People details that at each table a reposado tequila was given and They served cocktails with mole, mezcal, or chili.
