The mayor of San Miguel de Allende, Mauricio Trejo Pureco, highlighted the tourist activity of the heritage city during the International Tourism Fair (FITUR) 2025.

He stressed that San Miguel de Allende is a Heritage City and Ambassador of Mexico to the World, and that is why its presence at FITUR 2025 reaffirms the commitment of the Municipal Government to strengthen the tourism sector by being part of the most important event of the industry at a global level held in Madrid, Spain.

“The main thing, within the framework of the International Tourism Fair, is to know the tourism trends, where the demands of tourism are going and what our competitors are doing, apart from the alliances with other destinations that we can be complementary, so the San Miguel Delegation at FITUR made a great promotion job.”

For four days, the San Miguel delegation headed by Mayor Mauricio Trejo, accompanied by Tania Castillo, Director of Economic Development and Tourism, held international tourism promotion activities, captivating opinion leaders, media outlets, and travel agents with the history, traditions, architecture, and artisan legacy that distinguish San Miguel de Allende.
