Members of the Specialized Human Search and Rescue Group in Support of Guanajuato (Grupo Especializado de Búsqueda y Rescate Humano en Apoyo de Guanajuato), traveled to the Mexico City to assist in the rescue works and help to remove people from the rubble.
Upon their arrival, the Guanajuato delegation was immediately assigned to work at the Calle Saratoga 718 site, Colonia Portales, where a building collapsed and its entire structure is damaged.
There were people trapped under the rubble and debris but they had to stop the rescue operation, fearing a major collapse that could result in the death of those who were still trapped.
Later on, they went inside a damaged building in Colonia Linda Vista on a rescue operation and they were able to locate a man who was still alive and got him out.
The name of the man is Jose Luis, he was 65 years old, and by getting him out alive and well, the specialists of Guanajuato together with the members of the Mexico City Fire Brigade, demonstrated their skills and abilities as a rescue team.
