The Restaurant Bovine will open its doors in this magical town.

Bruce James, director of Matilda, one of Mexico’s best hotels along with Paul Bentley, an Australian chef in love with Mexico, opened the doors of Bovine: the trendy subway-chic brasserie in the heart of San Miguel de Allende, that everybody is talking about.

This magical town is now the home of Bovine because, according to James, “the gastronomy in San Miguel de Allende is in full swing, making it the ideal place for our new and exciting brasserie.”

It is located inside the historic “Post Code Design” building in the heart of San Miguel, just a few steps from the Parroquia de San Miguel Arcangel.

Bentley claims that the simple and honest menu does not cease to amaze its diners as it offers a new culinary experience re-interpreting the traditional concept of meat cuts.

Meat lovers will find dishes that will delight their palates like rack of lamb, suckling pig or the classic cuts: Rib-Eye, T-Bone and New York steak, cooked directly to firewood.

However, the chef did not forget to include on the menu delicious poultry and fish from Ensenada Baja California, as well as delicious desserts.
